Christmas Treats Part 2

Tonight we met friends for drinks after work, and my dad went over to let Chloe out for us. He arrived to find most of the decorations on the bottom third of the tree removed. We forgot to put the gate up when we left this morning, resulting in the de-decorating.

Not a Bed of Lettuce

Noticed this yesterday while getting ready to go to sleep. I stepped on something that felt like wood a wood chip. Did you know there is like, plywood or particle board or something underneath the box spring? Now I do. Termite dog strikes again.

Eating Up on Home Improvements

The weird thing is that when I came downstairs and saw this book on the coffee table, I thought, Weird, I thought Chloe ate that book before we moved. Who knew that thought would actually turn out to be a premonition?

O Christmas Treat, O Christmas Treat!

This was a small wooden Santa ornament, and also some sort of snowman-- I only know that because I found the hat and the scarf and the Styrofoam body . The things she's supposed to be playing with-- a tennis ball and a Nylabone--are added into the mix so she can thumb her nose at us. If she had thumbs.

Stuffing

Poor pillow. It did not deserve a disemboweling.

Packing

Either Chloe was trying to protest our upcoming move, or she just had to see what was in box # 97.
